Faculty Wizard understands that assessment notes are often fast, fragmented, and written in the moment. This tool exists to help instructors turn rough, candid notes into clear, professional, fact-focused feedback — without worrying about how the first draft sounds. Given that mission, Faculty Wizard does not want to store your data.

Faculty Wizard can be used for all kinds of situations where professional feedback must be provided, and it is certainly not a student records system. It does not assess work, assign grades, or store either input or generated output. Users should exclude unnecessary personally identifiable information (such as full student names or ID numbers), but the Faculty Wizard will not store anything in any case. The tool is designed to work with only the provided input context and output safe, clean, fact-focused, dispute-resilient feedback.

In other words, when you submit text, it is processed only to generate the requested response. Faculty Wizard does not maintain a persistent history of assessment notes or generated feedback in its own systems after processing is complete.

Minimal technical information (such as timestamps, usage counts, and basic system diagnostics) may be retained solely for uptime monitoring, security, and abuse prevention. These logs are limited to what is necessary to keep the service reliable and secure.

Because Faculty Wizard requires secure accounts and infrastructure, account and authentication data are processed via Clerk. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. Submitted text is transmitted to a language processing provider (Anthropic API) solely to generate the response.
